It was an epoch making event few days now when the youths of Okuzu Akanator village in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra converged in their numbers and signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ekulu Estate Landlord Association after aged long feud, which has resulted to destruction of structures already put in place by the members of the Landlords Association.
Reacll that Ekuku Landlords Association members had bought their respective landed property from Akamili Okuzu Akanator Oba but was later faulted by the youths of Okuzu Akanator on the ground that the landlords never met with the condition(s) suitable for the youths.

Addressing the Ekulu Estate Landlord Association, the chairman of Okuzu Akanator Youths Wailfare Oba, Mr. Abafor Ifesochukwu commended the landlords for their patient and understanding even as he assured them that everlasting peace has been restored. He went further and urged them to go ahead and develop their respective property.
Assuring them they can never experienced what they passed through before now in the hands of the youths in the village, the chairman advised them to arrange for internal security to secure their property even as he made it clear that the youths are on ground, should their assistance be needed by the landlords.
While engaging our reporter in an interview, the Secretary of Okuzu Akanator Youths Wailfare Oba, Mr. Okoye Chidebere equally assured that everlasting peace has been restored, tasking their tenants to commence work on their already damaged property at any time they wish.
Responding on behalf of the landlords, the Chairman if the Estate, Mr Obinwanne Shadrach who was over whelmed with joy, however thanked the youths for their understanding by allowing peace to reign. He assured that they will work with the youths. He also commended his members for their patient and understanding.
Extending calls for other landlords who abandoned their property as a result of the already rested feud, Mr Obinwanne Shadrach urged them to come back and commence work on their site, the call which was collaborated by the Secretary of Ekulu Estate Landlord Association, Bro. Izudegwu Emmanuel who equally commended the two parties for embracing peace. He called on state government to come to their aid in providing social amenities such as access road, school, hospital market amongst others.
He further requested Church leaders to equally come and build their worship centers in the estate and if his call is attended to, he said would yield enough revenue to the state government, laying much emphasis that their Estate have the capacity of accommodating over five thousands inhabitants.
Adding his voice, a member of Estate Landlords Association, Mr Obi Uche called on those who bought land from them including his in-law over sea to come back and start work in their various potions as peace has been restored. Others who spoke with with our reporter include; Mr. Edene Onyema Osoma and Chief Aghabe.
The land in question is situated at Akamili Okuzu akanator with common boundary with Ichi by left and Orifite by right.
