Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President, has formally entered the presidential run ahead of the 2023 general elections.
According to a video acquired by Anaedoonline.ng, Atiku made the announcement while meeting with several stakeholders after losing to President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential elections.
The former Vice President claimed that his choice was motivated by the necessity for effective governance in Nigeria, claiming that he had all of the necessary skills to help the country overcome its myriad issues.

“We are at one of the most challenging and difficult periods in our country’s history,” he remarked.
Insecurity caused by poverty, Unemployment and insecurity.
“Nigerians have never needed serious leadership more than they do now.”
“The PDP is in a better position to provide Nigerians with the leadership they desire.” That’s what I’d want to present. I’d want to provide solutions to our issues.
“I’ve worked at both the lowest and highest levels. As Vice President of Nigeria, I was instrumental in the country’s transition.
“As a businessman, I’ve tackled grass-roots issues by providing work for tens of thousands of people.”
