A video showing the moment a tiny plane crashed in the Oba Akran district of Lagos State and burst into flames has gone viral on social media.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon near a United Bank for Africa (UBA) branch and a filing station.
The viral footage shows the moment the plane landed on the road and caught fire.

Many Nigerians expressed concern after seeing the video and hoped that the people on the plane survived.

Meanwhile, chief press secretary of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Gboyega Akosile said four persons, including the pilot, were on board the aircraft.
Akosile shared several videos of the crash scene, showing rescue workers at work and tens of residents observing.
According to him, the casualties have been taken alive to an undisclosed hospital.
He also said the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and the Lagos State Fire Service are at the scene.
He wrote: “Breaking: A helicopter containing 4 persons including the pilot crash landed in front of the UBA branch in Ikeja.

“All four casualties have been retrieved from the aircraft alive. They have been transferred to hospital for further care. LASEMA, Lagos Fire Service on ground.”
