The federal government Through the Minister of State for Education, Chief Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, says it does not have confidence yet to proceed with the re-opening of school in view of the increasing number of COVID-19 infections as released by National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The Minister said this while responding to questions from journalist after the eighth virtual Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said the decision to keep school closed remains unchanged and WAEC has also started consultations with other West African states on a possibility of shifting dates.
