Three members of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) shot two Senior Secondary School pupils at Life Camp in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Wednesday morning.
After the event, which happened at around 11:20 a.m., some irate students staged a violent protest and vandalised three NSCDC patrol cars as payback for their colleagues’ injuries.
The Gwarinpa Hospital is currently providing medical care to the two pupils who were shot.
The NSCDC officials were reportedly sent to the school to offer security while an inspection was being conducted there.
