According to information released by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Thursday, the public will get a first look at the much awaited Red Line rail project in February.
Speaking at the Town Hall Meeting for the Lagos West Senatorial District, which was hosted at the Sheraton, Ikeja’s Balmoral Convention Centre.
The governor disclosed that Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received an official communication from the state government inviting him to chair the unveiling ceremony.

Sanwo-Olu stated, “Our Red Line rail will be unveiled in February. In fact, we have written officially to Mr President to come and help us unveil it in February this year.”
Key stations at Agbado, Iju, Agege, Ikeja, MMIA International (domestic), Oshodi, Mushin, Yaba, Ebute Metta, Iddo, Ebute Ero, and Marina will be connected by the 37-kilometer Red Line. The project’s goal is to improve the state’s communication and transportation infrastructure.
