Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, National President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, has hit out at Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu’s Ohanaeze Ndigbo, accusing him of playing selfish and ethnic politics to the detriment of Ndigbo.
Okwu’s remark came in response to a statement published by Alex Ogbonna, the National Publicity Secretary of the Iwuanyanwu-led Ohanaeze.
The apex Igbo group has been divided into two parts, which is now being litigated.

Okwu stated in a statement made available to journalists in Enugu on Thursday that some Igbo chieftains were against him because he was not dancing to their selfish melodies.
He found it amusing that Iwuanyanwu, who had not been elected by anyone, was busy issuing commands.
He said that his only offense was complimenting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and praising Tinubu’s selection of an Igbo son from Enugu State as one of the Service Chiefs.
