Amobi Ogah, the member representing Abia State’s Isuikwuato/Umunneochie federal constituency, has accused various media outlets and blogs of misquoting him during interviews he provided during his election win church thanksgiving ceremony last Sunday.
In a statement made available to journalists on Wednesday, Ogah stated unequivocally that he never advised Labour Party presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi or the Labour Party to accept defeat as God’s will.
Amobi claimed that he only asked candidates who ran against him for a House of Representatives seat to accept defeat and regard his election triumph as the will of God.
