In a coup on Wednesday, the military junta in Gabon also imprisoned the president’s son, Ali Bongo, according to Alarabiya News.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Ali Bongo, who had just been elected for a third term, was overthrown on Wednesday by senior military officers from Gabon.
