ANYAOHA PROSPER EMERGES PRESIDENT, SAG NAU-CHS

The Student Association Government of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, College Of Health Science, Nnewi conducted her union election yesterday, 4th April, 2019.

According to the result released by the union electoral commission, Anyaoha Prosper polled the highest number of votes to emege winner of the election. He polled 1065 votes as against the First runnerup and Second runnerup, Onyeka Franklin and Igwe Ogbonna that polled 753 and 542 votes respectively.

The Vice President position saw Adaeze .B. Nwachukwu as the winner with 1586 votes as against Maduka Chonke who had 755 votes

Also, Olisah Bosah with 1674 votes emerged the winner for Financial Secretary post as against his top contender, Kalu Chukwuemeka who had 639 votes.

Nwoye Christian, the Secretary of Union Electoral Commission (UNECO) the body responsible for conducting elections applauded the winners and losers for exercising team spirit and abiding by the dictates of the law.

He encouraged the president elect and his team to fulfill the promises they made when they were seeking for votes. He advised them to make sure that they maintain a good harmonious relationship with the school management especially in the area of ensuring that issues that kept the non conduct of the election for close to two years now do not arise again.
