English Football Association has dragged FIFA to court following their refusal to reduce the punishment slammed on it for its role in Chelsea’s transfer ban with the case set to be heard next month.
An updated list of hearings shows that The Court of Arbitration for Sport [CAS] will consider the FA’s complaint on 26 June.
In February 2019, Fifa found Chelsea guilty of a serious and systemic breach of the rules regarding their dealings with overseas players under the age of 18.

The FA was also found to have breached rules in connection with minors and was fined, although this punishment was also reduced on appeal.
Fifa also gave the FA six months “to address the situation concerning the international transfer and first registration of minors in football.”
The FA said that it would appeal the punishment.
