Sir Kie Kie, an ardent supporter of Nigeria’s president, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has bemoaned bitterly the difficulty and despair that the elimination of fuel subsidies has caused his family and other ordinary Nigerians across the country.
According to news sources, the elimination of subsidies in Nigeria has had an impact on the social and economic lives of the average Nigerian, forcing many to undergo incomprehensible misery and let go of items they cannot afford.
Remember that Tinubu declared the withdrawal of fuel subsidies during his inaugural speech on Monday, May 29, ushering in a new set of realities for Nigerians across the country.

Speaking passionately about the situation, Kie Kie stated that he and many other supporters of the present president had campaigned with their life in the belief that he understood the condition of the masses and would alleviate the agony caused by the previous administration.
He was disappointed, however, by Tinubu’s quiet since the subsidy was removed, saying that the Tinubu-led government could have waited till the end of July to remove the subsidy.
He mentioned that many of his friends and family can no longer afford to eat because prices have skyrocketed.
He vowed to continue expressing his outrage over the pain and hunger until something substantial is done to mitigate the effects of subsidy on the regular person.

Speaking in the video, Kiekie said: “We believed that youre the same person who was for the masses and not Peter Obi, who was a pretender. Some people are not eating, some people can’t walk freely now just because they campaigned for you. You can send us to prison, but we won’t let you rest until you do something.”
