Bola Tinubu, the president of Nigeria, is looking for backing for his country’s military action in Niger.
Following the military takeover, the president demanded a complete blockade of the country’s maritime and air lines in a letter that was read aloud in front of the whole Senate by Godswill Akpabio.
Recall that the Niger Republic’s democratically elected government was overthrown by the military a few weeks ago.

In accordance with the ECOWAS resolution, it also seized the assets of all politically exposed and senior members of the Nigerian administration.
