The brewery, scheduled to commence operations in December, promises to revolutionize the local beer industry. With an estimated production capacity of 180,000 bottles per day and a fermentation period of 15 days, it aims to meet the growing demand for beer while simultaneously driving down prices. However, Asemakaha emphasized that this endeavor is not about competition; rather, it's about empowering local communities and retaining financial resources within the state. One of the most compelling aspects of this project is its commitment to sustainability. By sourcing raw materials locally and fostering partnerships with farmers, the brewery seeks to create a self-sustaining ecosystem that benefits the entire region. Asemakaha outlined plans to distribute seedlings to farmers, enabling them to cultivate crops for brewery ingredients and thus stimulating agricultural productivity. As the countdown to December begins, anticipation is mounting among Benue residents. The prospect of enjoying a homegrown beer, crafted with care and passion, resonates deeply with many.
