Senator Stella Oduah’s appeal challenging Dr. Tony Nwoye’s selection as senator for the Anambra North Senatorial District was rejected by the Election appeal Tribunal in Awka, Anambra State.
In the February 25, 2023, National Assembly election, Dr. Nwoye of the Labour Party received 94,779 votes, placing Senator Oduah of the PDP, the incumbent, in second place with 50,146 votes, and former First Lady Obiano of the APGA, in third place with 48,212 votes.
