Hadiza Ismai’il, a 58-year-old female pilgrim, died while doing the Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
Ismai’il was from the Madobi Local Government Area of Kano State and passed away on Monday at 3:15 p.m. Saudi Arabia local time after a brief illness.

She was taken to the NAHCON hospital because she was reportedly sick with a fever, but was later sent to King Abdulaziz Hospital in Mecca, where doctors declared her dead.
After a funeral prayer in the Ka’aba Mosque, Ismai’iI had subsequently been buried in Mecca.
The Director-General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Laminu Danbappa, confirmed the development.
Danbappa, on behalf of the Kano State Governor, Engineer Abba Yusuf, while condoling with the family of the deceased, prayed to Almighty Allah to grant her eternal rest, as well as to grant the family members the fortitude to bear the loss.
