Shehu Mahdi, a fervent supporter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and human rights activist, has inquired as to the timing of the start of an investigation into the late Muhammadu Buhari and his cabinet.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the activist from Katsina posted on his X account on Monday to claim that Buhari, his family, his employees, and his ministers ruined Nigeria.
Recall that after eight years in office, Buhari stepped down in May 2023 and turned the government over to President Bola Tinubu.

Taken to his social media page on Monday morning, Mahdi wrote: “MOTHER OF ALL PROBES: WHEN WILL PROBE ON BUHARI & CO COMMENCE???: Heaven is watching, & people are asking as to when probe on Buhari will commence along with his family members, domestic & personal staff, ministers & other hangers-on, who devoured, feasted & destroyed Nig? When?”
In a previous post, Mahdi cited a passage from the Qur’an to urge the judges of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to make their own decisions regarding the petitions that were brought before them, which contested President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s election victory on February 25.
He wrote: “DO AS YOU WISH
“And if there should be a group among you who believed in that with which I have been sent and a group that has not believed, then be patient until Allāh judges between us. And He is the best of judges.”
