After the famed kidnapping mastermind John Lyon, often known as “Lion,” a Nigerian journalist, was apprehended, Godfery Chikwere made information about the suspect public.
Earlier, Anaedoonline.ng had claimed that the Federal Capital Territory Police Command had detained Lyon in Abuja.
According to reports, the suspect is one of the kidnapping groups terrorizing Bayelsa State and its surroundings. He was tracked down and apprehended in Abuja.

In a widely shared video, Lion admitted that he was only involved in the kidnapping of two persons and that he was not the organization’s ringleader.
Security personnel were begged for forgiveness by the kidnapping suspect, who claimed that his wife had just given birth.
