Bola Tinubu, a presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress, has sparked outrage online after claiming to be behind the election of Muhammadu Buhari as President of Nigeria.
The ruling party’s National Leader also disclosed how he recommended Yemi Osinbajo for Vice President in 2015 and backed Dapo Abiodun’s election as Governor of Ogun State.
Tinubu made the remarks while speaking to APC delegates in Abeokuta, Ogun State, ahead of the party’s primaries.

Former Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his Kano counterpart Umar Ganduje, and former Borno State Governor Kasim Shettima were in attendance.
Some Nigerians were perplexed as to why Tinubu is so adamant about Buhari being the country’s president in 2015.
While others said it is time for Tinubu to remind Buhari and others of the good deeds he did for them now that he wants to take over from the president at the end of his tenure.
