Rita Edochie Demands Nnamdi Kanu’s Release, Declaring, ‘We Can’t Continue To Be Third Class Citizens.’
Rita Edochie, a veteran Nollywood actress, has urged President Bola Ahmed’s administration to free Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
According to Newsmen, the renowned actress, who has never hidden her sympathy for the secessionist organization, issued the call via her Instagram page in response to the escalating turmoil in the country’s South East area.
Speaking about the disturbance in the South, the 55-year-old actress tweeted a video of numerous IPOB followers appealing for the leader’s release.

According to the actor, if Nnamdi Kanu is released, the instability in the country’s southeast would be history. She also cursed the ‘elites’ responsible in the continuing detention of the IPOB leader.

“STOP PLAYING WITH PEOPLES LIFE ESPECIALLY ALL YOU ELITES.
“THAT YOUR CHILDREN ARE OVERSEAS AND YOU ARE USING OTHER PEOPLE’S CHILDREN TO CREAT UNREST.
“IF YOU ARE ONE OF THEM YOUR GENERATION AND GENERATION TO COME WILL NEVER NO PEACE.”
