Former Presidential adviser Reno Omokri has mocked former Transportation Minister and Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi.
According to news reports, Amaechi became mute in the political realm following his failure in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary contest and rarely commented on national matters.
Amaechi made headlines after the last presidential election for allegedly defecting from the APC, but he denied it.
Reno claimed in an Instagram post that the former governor had suddenly sunk into obscurity because he currently holds no official office.

While giving guidance to his followers, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporter stated that people should improve themselves so that their importance stems from their personalities rather than their positions.
He wrote: “Without an office in government, look at how Rotimi Amaechi just faded away into obscurity. In life, develop yourself to the extent that your relevance emanates from who you are rather than what you are.
“Because you are always in control of who you are, while what you are is often outside your power. Everything can be taken from a man apart from the knowledge he develops himself with.
“Lizard pretending to be a lion. May God not let any of my followers be as irrelevant as the K in the knife!”
