Nigerians have taken to social media to expressed outrage at members of House of Representatives over their refusal to endorse Innoson made-in Nigeria vehicles as their official vehicles.
In a report titled Reps reject Innoson made- in-Nigeria SUVs as official vehicles, newsmen reported that the lawmaker who made the suggestion to endorse the locally made vehicles was shouted down during its executive session on Wednesday.

The report from our correspondence also stated that the lawmakers insisted on brand new imported SUVs against the locally assembled and made-in–Nigeria brand.
In relation to growing locally made goods and promoting indigenous companies, Gov. Hope Uzodimma on Monday gave out Innoson Brand Of Vehicles to the Head Of Service and Permanent Secretaries In Imo State.
The choice of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturer was to promote locally manufactured goods and boost the economy of the country from within.
His predecessor Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha was criticized for ignoring Innoson and buying Ford vehicles within the eight months he was in power.

Uzodinma have been commended for this move and urged to maintain the pace he is going in order to change the mind of the people to fully accept him and believe in his ability to move the state forward.
Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Co. Ltd., shortened as IVM, is a Nigerian automobile and bus manufacturing company.
