The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed confidence that the election petition tribunal will rule in favor of its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the presidential election of 2023.
The party also called President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 election illegitimate.
The major opposition party made this known in a post on its Twitter handle on Tuesday after the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) reserved judgment in Atiku’s petition against Tinubu before the tribunal.
The tribunal took the decision after the court adopted the final written address in the petition filed by the PDP and its candidate.
