The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Uche Ekwunife on Saturday visited Urum in Awka North local government area to sympathize with the Okoye family who lost their daughter and her son in the unfortunate fire incident of Wednesday, October 16, 2019.
Ekwunife who described the death of the young mother and her child as a sad tale noted that no citizen deserves to die in such a manner, particularly when it is caused by avoidable circumstances.

She encouraged the family to take solace in the Lord and be consoled by the hope of the eternal reward, which we all strive for.
She equally used the opportunity to reiterate the need for government at all levels to support the victims of the incident so as to ameliorate their sufferings.
The deceased were identified as Mrs. Ifeoma Nwoye and Little Miss. Chinaza Nwoye from Urum in Anambra North local government area, it’s one the 59 communities in Anambra Central Senatorial Zone.
