Anayo Rochas Okorocha, the former governor of Imo State, will be arraigned before a Federal High Court in Abuja on corruption accusations on Tuesday, February 22.
The Federal Government will prosecute Okorocha, who is presently a Senator, on 17 counts of unlawful diversion of public monies and properties totaling billions of naira.

The accusations, dated January 24, 2022, and signed by one A.O Ikota on behalf of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, were spotted by our reporter.
Sources told our reporter that all essential processes had been done, including serving the accusations on Okorocha and other defendants in accordance with the law.
The arraignment is expected to be presided over by Justice Inyang Eden Ekwo of the Abuja division of the Federal High Court.
