At the meeting held last Thursday at Urashi Resort, the Ogboko, Ideato South country home of the former governor, attendance was made up of 10 persons drawn from the Okorocha faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC); 10 persons from the Araraume faction of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and another 10 persons drawn from Uche Nwosu’s Action Alliance (AA) Party.
Okorocha, who made the lead speech, while Araraume largely concurred, announced the formation of a coalition which he said is going to be the rallying platform in anticipation of the outcome of the Supreme Court judgment and subsequent political engagements for 2023.
The former governor noted that his son in-law had always been APC at heart saying: “Uche Nwosu was merely wearing Chelsea jersey inside with Manchester United jersey on top.”
He averred that Nwosu won the Imo governorship election but expressed hope that the Supreme Court would give his group justice.
Different committees were set up while Okorocha announced that about N20 million will be set aside for mobilization and meetings at community levels by the various committees.
