Obi, Innoson, Moghalu, Smart Speaks At AnaedoOnline Virtual Lecture

One of the biggest Southeast media firms AnaedoOnline.ng marked her second year anniversary today, 29th August, 2020 with a virtual lecture with the theme, “The Place of youth in Politics and Economy”.

The AnaedoOnline second year anniversary lecture held virtually due to Coronavirus pandemic which has limited a lot of activities around the world.

This year’s lecture started with a presentation from the former Governor of Anambra State Peter Obi(Okwute Ndị Igbọ).

Obi in his speech advised the young people to get actively involved in the leadership process. He said young people should invest in projects that can yield benefits to the society even if they do not financially benefit from it. Stating that young people can do more in bettering the society.

Peter Obi is dear to the heart of Ndị Anambra as the Governor who transformed the state in many ways especially his financial savings that has continued to sustain the state after his tenure.

Chief Innocent Chukwuma( CEO of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing, IVM) in his speech encouraged you people to use their innovative ideas to upscale their society

He used himself and his Innoson brand as an example. He said the youths need to be conscious of their environment to identify when an opportunity presents itself.

Chief Chukwuma is popular among Nigerians for his brave heart and ingenuity to venture into car manufacturing in Nigeria.

Speaking during the lecture, the keynote Speaker Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor (Hon. Member representing Nnewi North at the Anambra State House of Assembly) said the youths have take part in the system by being a part of the system just like he did. He narrated how he initially joined politics by being a part of the Student Union Government (SUG) during his University days.

Hon Okafor is the youngest Lawmaker in the Anambra State House of Assembly and has a remarkable track record for his efforts in Youth development.

The future of Nigeria is young and there is no conversation taking place without talking about the youth says Prof. Kingsley Moghalu, a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN).

Prof. Moghalu emphasized on the need for every young person to join a party/ politics during their young days just Hon.Okafor, inorder to build a profile for themselves until when they are ready to contest elections. Prof stated that even though it is not easy for young people in Nigeria due to poor economic policies he suggests that young people can be deliberate about their success.

He further stated that he is talking to investors to see how he can help young people thrive in Nigeria through the Venture Investment Capital.

The anniversary lecture which held via the zoom application had many participants who interacted with the speakers during the Question and Answer session.

There was also the presentation of Awards to Chinonso Ogbogu the CEO of Sabi Writers, Virtually and also to Hon. Nonso Okafor. Other Awards will be presented to the awardees in due time.

Recall that last year, the AnaedoOnline anniversary held in Nnewi, Anambra State and was the biggest event in the state to bring together respected men and women of Igbo extraction and friends of the tribe in one meeting.
