Several Lagos State residents have resorted to Twitter to express their displeasure with the reinstatement of 100% payment on government bus fares in the state.
According to previous reports, citizens of the state will return to 100% payment of government-owned buses, widely known as BRT, beginning April 1, 2023.
According to reports, the state administration has ended the 50% discount on bus fares throughout the state.

It will be remembered that Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu ordered a 50% price reduction.
He claimed the action was made to alleviate the misery caused by the country’s gasoline scarcity and financial crunch.
Nevertheless, in a recent development, the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) announced on Tuesday that the price cuts have ended.
LAMATA said on their Twitter account that rates on state-owned buses will return to 100 percent on April 1.
Nonetheless, various varied comments from netizens have followed the LAMATA announcement.
