Nigerians on Twitter have slammed singer Dbanj for allegedly arresting Seyitan Babatayo, the lady who accused him of raping her at Glee hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, in 2018.
Seyitan was arrested on Tuesday and detained in Sodipo police station, Ikeja, Lagos and allegedly hasn’t been granted access to friends, family or a lawyer.
The arrest came 2 days after the singer, through his lawyers, asked Seyitan to pay N100 million as compensation for falsely accusing him of rape and tender a public apology.
A tweet from Seyitan’s account which was posted about 2 hours ago reads; “I’m done with all these back and forth drama…Frank took me to the party and gave me the key to the room. I’m moving on and leaving everything behind me. Thanks and God bless.

Twitter Naija took to the platform to react after Seyitan deleted all tweets from her Twitter account, including the rape accusations.
Nigerians are now dragging and “cancelling” Dbanj, saying Seyitan was coerced to post the new tweet, and that the singer is using his influence to intimidate her.

In another Story Ibidun Ighodalo Is In A Better Place – Adeboye
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has assured that the late ex-beauty queen, Ibidun Ighodalo, is in a “better place”.
Adeboye tweeted this on Thursday morning in reaction to Ibidun’s death on Sunday. He described the news of the former Face of Lux as “really saddening”.
“Hearing the news of @ibidunni_ighodalo’s demise was really saddening but I know that she is in a better place right now. I pray that the Almighty himself will comfort the family of @pastorituahighodalo in Jesus name,” he wrote.
