It appears Nigerian ladies are really taking the waist bead challenge a bit too serious on Twitter.
The beads, strung along a wire or cord, is said to be an exclusive symbol of femininity and it is commonly referred to as Ileke in Yoruba.
The challenge was inspired by a web user, identified as Mofeoluwa and she happens to be a Chemical Engineer.
