The Minister of Labour and Employment Chris Nwabueze Ngige recently visited Tetralog Nigeria Ltd., Enugu, an accredited dealer of Mercedes-Benz products in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The minister who was on oversight function of some of the agencies attached to his ministry said that he was in Enugu to see some of the beneficiaries of Federal Government intervention programme on job creation, N-Power build.
Tetralog Nig Ltd, is one of the accredited centres for the training of young Nigerians in
mechatronics and vehicle repairs under the N-Power programme.
It will be recalled that “N-power is a job creation and empowerment initiative of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The N-power programme which is for young Nigerians between the ages of 18 to 35 is an intervention programme that will help address the challenge of youth unemployment by providing a structure for large scale and relevant work skills acquisition and development..”
Welcoming the Minister to Tetralog Nigeria Limited, the Managing Director and Chief
Executive of the company, Engineer Onuorah Nnabugwu thanked the minister for finding the time to visit the company despite his busy schedule.

He said that the company is proud to be associated with the N-power programme which is
designed to lift Nigerian youths out of poverty and unemployment.
He assured the minister that Tetralog will not spare any effort in making sure that the
objectives and goals of the N-power programme were realized by giving quality training to the young Nigerians under the company’s custody.
Responding the minister said he was happy with the facilities he has seen and he has been
assured of the high level of training, the young Nigerians were receiving from Tetralog.
He said he had no doubt that some of the beneficiaries would become entrepreneurs in future as well as secure employment in other companies.
He commended the Management of Tetralog for keying into the national service and also for retaining some of the trainees as full time staff after their training.

He further thanked the Management of the company for the warm reception accorded him and the members of his entourage inspite of the short notice of his visit.
The minister was later taken on a facility tour of the company.
