The Super Falcons will receive their prize money from the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup as well as any money they are owed, according to the Nigerian Football Federation, or NFF.
Numerous incentives are due to the Super Falcons as of 2021, and there has been contention over who will pay the team’s World Cup winnings.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPRO) urged the NFF to pay the players what is owed to them.

However, the NFF claimed in a statement that it has no concerns with the players and that it has previously informed them that they would receive payment for all amounts owed to them.
When FIFA (the Federation of International Football Federations) pays the players their World Cup winnings, the football organisation has committed to compensate the players.
In addition to victory bonuses and allowances for qualifying matches that the NFF has not yet given, the players are each guaranteed $60,000 for making it to the Round of 16 of the World Cup.
After losing to the Three Lionesses of England 4-2 on penalties on Monday, the Super Falcons were eliminated from the competition.
