Traders at the New Auto Spare Parts Association, NASPA, Nkwo Nnewi, Anambra State, have concluded arrangements to conduct elections that will usher in new executive members that will pilot the affairs of the market for the next four years.
The election to be monitored by Anambra State government through the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Market and Wealth Creation as well as Anambra Markets Amalgamated Traders Association (AMATAS), according to reliable sources, is expected to hold on 5th November, 2018, at Anaedo Federation Hall by at Nnewi by 9am Prompt.

The group commended the Anambra State government, especially the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Market and Wealth Creation; as well as the President of Anambra Markets Amalgamated Traders Association (AMATAS), Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo, for ensuring that democracy is restored in the market by fixing date for the election. They reiterated their desire for a free and fair election devoid of any malpractices.
