It doesn’t seem that the misery following AA’s governorship candidate is about to end anytime soon as he is in what maybe described as his most trying moments in sometime except for losing the governorship election.
The Royal Fathers in Imo State want to reduce his status in the state without delay.
Umuonyima community in Owerri Municipal Council was the first community to vend their anger as the community leaders have stripped him of his indigeneship which they gave to him last year at the peak of the Imo governorship.
Soon after, the Royal Fathers in Mbaise and Orlu zone are said to have collaborated and ganged up to humiliate the ex-governor’s son in law by stripping him of the most adored UGWUMBA title they collectively gave to him.

News gathered revealed that after the Umuonyima community stripped him of his title, they gave the directive to other communities to do the same and strip him of every title they have given to him, although it is rumored that the state government is facilitating the process.
Nkwerre, his own local government could be the next in the queue to strip him of the title. Rumors have said that a top government official is behind the plot to reduce the status of the former Chief of Staff.
The former Chief of Staff who spoke on the issue claimed that he never lobbied for the titles and that they were given to him based on his good work.
Some Imolites who spoke on the matter expressed their discontentment as the battle have now shifted from Father in law to Son in law.
Others however agreed and praised the communities as they really want the immediate past governor and son in law to be cut to size because of the misery they made Imolites suffer.
