According to Anaedoonline.ng, Nigeria’s Super Falcons were eliminated from the World Cup after falling to England 4-2 in penalties.
In Australia, the Round of 16 match concluded after 120 minutes with a 0-0 draw.

During the penalty shootout, Alozie and Desire Oparanozie both missed their place kicks.
After the game’s conclusion, Alozie thanked God in a tweet via her Twitter account on Tuesday morning.
She tweeted, “Self disappointment overcasted with overwhelming pride for my teammates, gratitude for the journey, and glory to God—always.”
