Manchester United appear to have shifted their focus on signing the duo of Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish this summer.
The Red Devils announced another loan spell for Nigerian star Odion Ighalo until January 2021 earlier this month.
His initial temporary stay at Old Trafford saw him scored four goals and one assist in nine appearances across competitions but that was rudely prolonged due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
The 2019-20 season has been on hold since the middle of March but actions are scheduled to return on June 17.
And the club’s manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to keep the Nigerian star for the rest of the season as well as until he can sign a long term replacement in the transfer window.
Be that as it may, Goal reports Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still desperate to add more depth in his attack but plans to sign a centre forward is no longer a priority. Instead, the focus is on landing a winger and United still have Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho in mind.
However, Sancho’s £100million price tag could be a put-off, with United executive vice-chair Ed Woodward warning it is unlikely big transfer deals will happen this summer.

The Aston Villa skipper has been fantastic this season despite the club struggling to adapt in the league following their promotion to the top flight this season.
Former Liverpool star Emre Can told Jadon Sancho to “grow up” after he lashed out at the Bundesliga over his lockdown haircut rap.
The England ace was fined £8,000 for having a trim during lockdown and called the decision an “absolute joke” on Twitter.
