The Imo State Government has confirmed that the two Craneburg contractors who were kidnapped along Okigwe Road in the state on December 9, 2022, have been released.
The state said in a brief statement on Monday that the abduction victims were liberated thanks to a joint effort by security authorities.

“The victims were presented to Governor Hope Uzodimma this morning at the State Government House, Owerri.
“The state government is leaving no stone unturned in securing the lives and properties of Imo citizens,” the statement read in part.”
