The Honourable Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, Imo state, Hon Dan Ogu has congratulated Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma on his one year in office as Governor Imo State.
He expressed gratitude to God for the life of the Governor and his family members. He disclosed this at Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri during Governor Hope Uzodinma’s one year thanksgiving service .
The Vice President of Nigeria Prof Yemi Osibanjo in his speech , extolled the leadership qualities of Governor Hope Uzodinma , his giant strides so far and the need for leaders to be at one with the electorate .
The Senate President , deputy Senate President , the APC National Special Convention Committee and Governor of Yobe State Hon. Mai Maka Buni and Governors of Lagos , Kogi, Ebonyi and Ekiti states were in attendance . Other high net worth personalities who graced were Dr. Chris Ngige (Labour Minister) , Hon. Emeka Nwajiuba ( Minister of State Education ) and Abubakar Malami Attorney General of the Federation.
Top government officials , political appointees and Imolites in their thousands graced the occasion , as not a few prayed for the peace and rapid development of Imo State under the watch of Governor .
