Reno Omokri, a former assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has asked Nigerians to keep significant agreements to themselves, only hours after Jonathan purportedly switched from the Peoples Democratic Party to the governing All Progressives Congress.
Sources told Anaedoonline.ng that the former president has registered his membership with the ruling party in his Otuoke Ward in Bayelsa State.
Jonathan is expected to submit his APC declaration of interest and nomination on Thursday, far ahead of the deadline for submitting forms.

According to the source, the former president has also acquired the endorsement of the necessary number of APC delegates in each state.
The news has sparked debate online, with some questioning why he rejected forms purchased for him just hours before joining APC and accepting the identical form hours later.
Despite the fact that the former advisor to Goodluck Jonathan has yet to comment on the incident, he turned to Twitter to warn his followers about the nasty human spirit and how genuine it is.
People should learn to keep the big issue to themselves until it happens, he continued.
He wrote; ”Nobody needs to know you are about to hit a major deal. Remember the last time you told everyone about that sure thing deal? Did it not backfire? Negative human spirit is real. Keep that big deal to yourself until it materialises, if you want it to be a big deal!”
