Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Éno, has issued a stern warning to his newly appointed Personal Assistants (PAs), cautioning them to reside within their respective ward areas or face dismissal from their positions. The governor emphasized that he would not hesitate to remove any PA found not living in their designated ward, emphasizing that their appointment was contingent on adhering to this requirement.
Governor Éno delivered this warning during the inauguration of 368 PAs in the state capital, Uyo. He stressed the importance of unity and respect for all individuals within their respective wards and urged the newly appointed PAs to follow his example in treating everyone with respect. He reminded them that their loyalty should be solely to the governor.
