
A copy of the letter sighted by Anaedoonline.com today, Thursday, reads:”I write to communicate my decision to resign from the services of the Government of Anambra State with effect from 3rd February 2020 for personal reasons. This is the required one month notice.
“I have enjoyed my tenure and in particular feel honoured to have been a part of such innovative team of ” Willie is Working” from inception of your administration. You assigned me to serve in the under listed designation:
A. Special Adviser on Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) from 10th April, 2014.
B. State Accountant General from 1st January 2015 to 26th March 2018, and,
C. Special Adviser on Efficiency, Training & Motivation from 26th March 2018 to Date.
“Thank you very much for these opportunities which enabled me to make my professional contributions to the development of our great State even in Greenfield areas. I have been diligent for the past five years and nine months in these services and thank you for the awards you gave me during the time of competence and selfless services.
“I will continue to pray for you that God strengthens you as you give our people your best. I wish you, my colleagues and the entire people of our dear State, all the best.
It is important to note that OKONKWO, Ngozi Monica is a descendant of the Royal Nwakanwa-Ogeli family of Obiuno-Umudim, Nnewi in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State. She is the last but one daughter of Peter Uzochukwu Okonkwo (Okonkwo Jos) of blessed memory and Ezinne Theresa Amailo Okonkwo (nee Okwuowulu).
Ngozi has been a Council Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) since May 2011. She has an Executive Certificate in Leaders in Development from the prestigious Harvard Kennedy Schools, Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America.
Last year, She was re-elected into the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN)
