The social media giant company unveiled a new all-caps logo on Monday in a rebranding effort to be more transparent about the products it owns. While the Facebook app will maintain its current branding, its parent company styled “FACEBOOK” will bear the revamped logo.
The social media company said it would start using the new brand within its products and marketing materials and would update the Facebook for Business website over the coming weeks.

The company owns 15 brands, including Instagram, Whatsapp, Messenger, Calibra, and Oculus.
Facebook claims the change will help distinguish the Facebook app from the parent company, a statement said.
In June, the company began including “from Facebook” within its apps that includes Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
