Chelsea boss, Frank Lampard, has commented on goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy’s foul against Dominic Calvert-Lewin following his side’s Premier League 1-0 defeat to Everton.

Mendy fouled the Everton striker in the first half of the encounter to award Carlos Ancelotti’s men a penalty. Gylfi Sigurdsson then converted the penalty to give the host all three points against Chelsea at Goodison Park.
Speaking on the development, Lampard insisted that Mendy’s foul against Calvert-Lewin was not clearly the Senegalese’s mistake.
“He’s been fantastic since he’s been here,” Lampard said as quoted by Chelsea’s official website. I don’t think it was clearly just his mistake either.”
