The member representing Oredo Federal Constituency in this state reportedly promised to withdraw the court case he filed against the embattled governor today.

This is coming a few hours after Anaedoonline.com reported that the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, has delayed an accelerated hearing on a suit seeking to stop Godwin Obaseki, the Edo State Governor, from contesting the primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party.
However, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) its aspirant, Hon. Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama and others have agreed to settle out of court ahead of Edo 2020 election.
Edo 2020: Court Orders PDP To Field Obaseki In Edo Primaries
Anaedoonline.com reports that all the parties involved in the PDP governorship primary election case presented before Port Harcourt division of the Federal High Court agreed to go for an out of court settlement on Wednesday.
The development is coming after Ogbeide-Ihama secured a court order on Monday, restraining the state governor, Godwin Obaseki, from participating in the primary election.
