Former presidential aspirant, Dele Momodu, has clarified his stance regarding his support for President Bola Tinubu. He stated that he never promised Tinubu his unconditional support for the financial help he received during his exile years.
Momodu addressed the issue through a social media post where he emphasized that he had repaid President Tinubu in various ways for the support he provided during his exile. He mentioned one of these ways as offering free and regular publicity on Ovation platforms, which has amounted to thousands of dollars. Momodu referred to this as “adding value.”
He explained that while he acknowledged and appreciated the help he received, he never committed to offering unconditional support to Tinubu. Momodu’s statement came in response to the circulation of various versions of an interview he granted a few years ago, with some suggesting that he had pledged unwavering support for Tinubu.
