The Senior pastor of Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC), formerly known as The Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare has advised Nigerian church leaders to offer their church halls as Isolation center for coronavirus patients.
Bakare made the call days after Bishop David Oyedepo and Chris Oyakhilome kicked against the federal government’s Continuous ban on religious gatherings.
Speaking during an online service today, May 10 the former Vice Presidential candidate, said he has already donated his church’s facilities to the Lagos state government and a private residence in Abeokuta to the government to use as coronavirus Isolation centers.

”I recommend that our church halls be made available to government as Isolation hall and those of us who could afford it should be there to support the government.” he said.
Meanwhile, following the ease of lockdown, general overseer of the Living Faith Chapel, Bishop Oyedepo has questioned the government on why people are allowed to go to the market but not to church.
In the video which is already going viral on the internet, Bishop Oyedepo was heard lamenting seriously about why the government will stop people from worshiping for just 2 hours.
According to him, The foundation in Christ is very important to tackle critical situations like this, adding that that the growth and expansion of the church is a headache for the devil.
