The Member Representing Nnewi North in Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor has called on Christians in Nnewi and beyond to deeply reflect on the very essence of Christmas celebration.
In his Christmas message to Nnewi residents, Hon. Nonso Okafor, said that Christmas is the celebration of the infinite mercy and love of the Almighty God upon our lives who sent his only son to redeem us from sin, that we might have life abundantly.
He called on Christians to reflect very deeply on the purpose of the birth of Christ and ensure that they rededicate their lives to the teachings of Christ.
In his message, he noted that the society will be better if we imbibe and manifest the teachings of Jesus Christ.
He urged Christians to use the season to show love to others especially the less privileged amongst us, as this will help to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.
He advised residents to put in place all safety measures while driving this season.
