Recently, a bride in Niger State took off her wedding dress and escaped several miles into the wilderness to avoid being kidnapped by robbers who assaulted them while they were transporting her to her new home.
According to information obtained by City & Crime, bandits ambushed the bride’s caravan while it was being driven from a village in Paikoro LGA to Kuta, the administrative center for Shiroro LGA.
We were escorting the bride to Kuta from my village, said a sister of the bride who asked that her name not be used in City & Crime. We were attacked by bandits when we drew near Kaffin-Koro.
