The meeting, which took place from Thursday, April 27 to Saturday, focused on pressing issues affecting doctors’ welfare and the alarming rate of flight of doctors and other healthcare workers due to poor remuneration, grossly inadequate funding of the health sector, and the resulting negative impact on citizens and health workers.
