Nigeria, on Monday night, June 8, recorded another 315 new cases of Coronavirus in thirteen (13) states as well as the country’s capital, Abuja, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 12801 and 361 deaths.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), announced on Monday night, on its official Twitter account.
The new cases are spread across Lagos, Rivers, Edo, Oyo, Kaduna,Gombe, Ogun, Plateau, Delta, Kwara, Kano, Bauchi and Katsina States as well as Abuja, the country’s capital.
The centre also said that seven (7) deaths from Coronavirus-related complications in the country, but the number of fatalities rise to 361.
NCDC also revealed that total numbers of 4040 patients were discharged.

According to the NCDC, “128 new cases were recorded in Lagos, 34 in the Federal Capital Territory, 32 in Rivers, 28 in Edo, 22 in Oyo, 20 in Kaduna, 13 in Gombe State.
It also revealed that eight cases were recorded in Ogun, seven each cases were recorded in Kwara and Delta States, five each cases recorded in Plateau and Kano States, four in Bauchi while two cases recorded in Kastina State.
